Public Sector Procurement & Bid Writing Workshop
These Workshops have been developed in collaboration with Anglia Ruskin University and In-tend to help raise awareness among suppliers of how public sector procurement works, and includes tips to improve bid writing skills.
The Workshops explain the legislation, the thresholds, and where to find opportunities, in addition to covering:
- what to expect from a PQQ
- what to expect from an ITT
- the types of responses buyers are looking for
- Do’s & Doníts!
- How to Maximise Your Scores
- several examples
The Workshops will be delivered by Allan Openshaw, former Head of Purchasing in several public sector organisations (HE, FE, Local Government, etc.). Allan has a wealth of experience and the sessions are aimed at knowledge transfer.
These workshops will be of particular interest to SME who are interested in working with the University.
Dates and Venues:
17th December 2014 at Anglia Ruskin University, East Road, Cambridge CB1 1PT
8th January 2015 at Anglia Ruskin University, Bishop Hall Lane, Chelmsford CM1 1SQ
Both Workshops will run from 10am to 3pm, with Registration from 9:30am.

Closing date to register for the Chelmsford event is 5th January 2015.
