Anglia Ruskin University Procurement Service

Procurement provides expertise and guidance to the University to promote efficient and effective procurement of any goods, services and works.   Our primary role is to ensure that value for money is obtained by acting as an interface between suppliers and the University.  A comprehensive service is provided including:

  • development and implementation of procurement strategies to support the delivery of the University’s overall strategy
  • goods, service and works provision
  • legislative compliance
  • liaising with national and inter-regional procurement working groups.

Our University organises it’s tendering activity via an electronic portal called In-Tend. All contract documentation and invitations to tender are issued by the University electronically and supplier’s responses received similarly through the secure site.  Correspondence can also be exchanged via this system.

View where you can find details of major items and services which are currently being tendered by the University.   From this website you will be able to:


  • Register your company so that your details will be available to us for consideration in any future tender exercises.  When registering, suppliers should only register their company once.


  • View a list of tenders/contracts/quotations


  • View information on contracts that have already been awarded


  • Express interest in a particular tender or quotation


  • Receive tender and/or quotation documentation


  • Safely return your tender or quotation documents


  •  Send and receive correspondence
