Corporate Purchasing Cards

General Over view

The Corporate Purchasing Card (often referred to by other Public Sector bodies as P-Card, Procurement Card) is available as an optional method for purchasing goods and services.

Corporate Purchasing Cards (CPC’s) are Mastercards and are very similar to a personal credit card. Each requisitioner is allocated a card, to which is linked an individual transaction limit and a cumulative monthly transaction limit.

They can be used for virtually all goods/services to a single transaction limit, where a supplier accepts CPC’s. However, certain trade categories may be blocked on the card at Procurement’s discretion. Cash may not be withdrawn and is in fact blocked.
